EIS Filings
In accordance with a October 28, 1977 Memorandum of Agreement between CEQ and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), EPA is responsible for the receipt and filing of Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) prepared by the Federal Agencies. Every week in the Federal Register, EPA publishes Notices of Availability for all EISs filed during the previous week. Recently, EPA modified agency requirements for filing EISs.
The links to the EPA website provide current instructions and information on weekly EIS filings. Notices of Availability serve as official notifications for public review and comment periods on Draft and Final EISs.
